GAMES AND SPORTS

ACHIVEMENTS OF OUR STUDENTS IN GAMES AND SPORTS 2011

This year our school conducted Cluster level Sports meet, Regional level  Sports Meet and KVS National coaching camp of KHO-KHO(U-19,U-14) and Kabaddi girls team.

KHO-KHO girls’ team (U-19, U-14) secured 1st position at Cluster level Sports Meet.

Our Basket ball boys (U-19) team also was champion at Cluster level.

U-14 KHO-KHO boys team got 2^nd position in Cluster level Sports Meet and 5 students selected for Kolkata Mixed team. They are- zeeshan Javed of class VI-A, Juber Ahmed, Adeep Rana, Rohit Singh Tomar all are in class VIII and Anand of class VII.

In Tae-kwando Niladitya Dhali and Kumar Gourav Prasadof class X participated in Regional Competition.

Yash Saha of class XII-Hum participated in Judo.

Sourav Sada and Krishanu Ghosh of class XI participated in Regional Chess

Competition.

Sandeep Kumar of class XII-SC and Tanmoy Barua of class XI-Hum take part in

Regional Badminton Competition.

In U-19 Cricket Abhas Mondal of class XI- sc and Shashank Chaturbedi of class X selected for Kolkata Mixed team.

In U-16Cricket, Arnab Mitra andVishal Mishra of class X-A participated in Cluster level Sports Meet.

Pawan Ghosh of class XII-Hum participated in U-19 Table Tennis Competition at Regional   level.

In Lawn Tennis Akshansh Kumar of class X participated in Regional level Sports Meet.

We conducted U-19 &U-14(Girls)Tug Of War Competition at Cluster level. U-19 girls team secured 2^nd position.

Following students were selected for KVS National Sports Meet in different discipline.
